Hi! I'm Lea Cruz, founder of Digital College Planner and Excel College Planning. I graduated from California State University of Long Beach in 2005 with a degree in Business Finance. I've been helping families with their college planning journey for about 13 years.
Having children of my own, I was forced to investigate how to best prepare for the rising college cost for my three children. Upon a great amount of research, I've decided to specialize in college planning to assist underserved families from all walks of life that needs help and guidance in figuring out how to send their children to college without jeopardizing their retirement.

I've hosted college planning and financial aid seminars in high schools, libraries, and community centers educating families on guiding their student on how to choose the right fit colleges for their children academically and financially as well as how to navigate through the financial aid process and maximize grants and scholarships to lower out-of-pocket costs.
I started Digital College Planner to have a broader reach and assist busy parents or parents unfamiliar with the college admissions and college funding/financial aid process and provide an affordable and easy to follow resources through our digital products and digital courses/webinars accessible from anywhere so that they can help their children navigate through the process and better prepare for successful college admission.
